Biography: Alyssa Milano started her acting career aged 7 in a touring production of "Annie". She went to become a successful child and adult actor appearing alongside Tony Danza on TV in "Who's the Boss", "Melrose Place" and starring in "Charmed".

Milano is also a prominent human rights activist. She is an American UNICEF Goodwill Ambassador and has worked for the organization since 2004.

In 2017 she ignited the #MeToo movement when she sent a tweet asking other women to say if they too had experienced sexual harassment and assault. Milano has campaigned for a number of Democratic candidates and spoke at the 2018 Women's March. In 2019 she controversially called for a "sex strike' as a response to Georgia's "heartbeat" bill, banning abortion after six weeks.
