Bob Saget

Full Name: Robert Lane Saget

Biography: Saget was an American comedian best known for playing Danny Tanner, the father on the ABC sitcom Full House which ran from 1987 to 1995; and then its Netflix sequel Fuller House which ran from 2016 to 2020. This role had him play father to Mary-Kate Olsen and Ashley Olsen, who shared the role of daughter Michelle Tanner.

Since this role, Saget was also known the voice of Ted Mosby in How I Met Your Mother—with the character's younger self being played by Josh Radnor. Saget also performed stand-up comedy and released a comedic album, alongside a variety of smaller roles.

He was found dead at 65 after family members became concerned at not having heard from him. The circumstances of his death, which reportedly resulted from an accidental blunt force trauma alone in his hotel room, have aroused public interest.
