Biography: Mark Ruffalo was an American actor who had a breakthrough with the 2000 film You Can Count on Me. Ruffalo's portrayal of Bruce Banner/Hulk in the Marvel Cinematic Universe has since gained him international recognition. He has earned accolades such as Academy Award nominations for The Kids Are All Right (2010), Foxcatcher (2014), and Spotlight (2015).

Ruffalo began his acting career in the early 1990s with minor film roles and stage appearances. His stage work in This Is Our Youth in 1996 led to further opportunities in film. By the mid-2000s, his talents were recognized on Broadway, earning a Tony Award nomination for Awake and Sing! in 2006.
