Biography: Famous for his portrayal of the character of Bucky Barnes/The Winter Soldier in the Marvel Cinematic Universe films. Cast as the character in the 2011 film "Captain America: The First Avenger", he took more of a starring role opposite Chris Evans in the follow-up "Captain America: The Winter Soldier" (2014).

Stan then went on to appear in a series of Marvel films since including "Avengers: Civil War" (2016) and "Avengers: Infinity War" (2018), as well the TV series "The Falcon and The Winter Soldier" (2021).

Other notable roles have included Ridley Scott's "The Martian" (2015) alongside Matt Damon and "I, Tonya" (2017), with Margot Robbie.

He was nominated for a number of awards including a Golden Globe and an Emmy for his role as Tommy Lee in the miniseries "Tommy and Pam" (2022).
