Biography: Gucci Mane is an American rapper and record executive best known as an early pioneer of trap music. He was an early influence alongside other rappers from Atlanta, including T.I. and Young Jeezy, during the rise of trap music in the 2000s and 2010s.

Gucci Mane's first album, titled Trap House, was released in 2010. He followed this with Hard to Kill (2006) and Back to the Trap House (2007). These albums were followed by a series of mixtapes, and then his most successful album yet at the time: The State vs. Radric Davis (2009).

He has continued to release music, notably including his collaboration on "Black Beatles" (2016) with Rae Sremmurd which was his first number one single, and has collaborated with many major artists such as Drake, Lil Wayne, and even Marilyn Manson.
