Biography:Julie Bowen is an American actress, best known for her role as Claire Dunphy in Modern Family (2009-2020) alongside an ensemble cast including Ed O'Neill, Sofía Vergara and Ty Burrell. She was nominated for an Emmy six times for her performance on this show, of which she won two.
Bowen has also appeared in other television shows such as ER (1998-1999), Ed (2000-2004), Boston Legal (2005-2007), and Lost (2005-2007). She has also acted in several films, including Happy Gilmore (1996) and Horrible Bosses (2011).
