Biography: Mick Fleetwood is a British musician, best known as the drummer and co-founder of Fleetwood Mac. The group's name comes from a combination of Fleetwood's name with that of bassist John "Mac" McVie.
The first form of Fleetwood Mac was founded in 1967 and featured McVie, Peter Green, Jeremy Spencer, and Bob Brunning. This group released their first album in 1968, titled Peter Green's Fleetwood Mac.
The second incarnation of the group was originated with a new lineup, most notably after Peter Green left the band in 1970. This second form was known for having Christine McVie and Stevie Nix as new members.
