Biography: Olivia Munn is an American actress and former television host who went from co-hosting on Attack of the Show! to acting in The Newsroom and"X-Men: Apocalypse.
She began her career with internships at media outlets and took early acting roles in direct-to-video films before becoming a co-host on Attack of the Show! from 2006 to 2010. Munn's career advanced as she joined The Daily Show with Jon Stewart as a correspondent and gained critical acclaim portraying Sloan Sabbith on The Newsroom (2012-2014).
Munn's film credits include Big Stan (2007), Date Night (2010), and Iron Man 2 (2010). She gained a wider audience with her role in Magic Mike (2012) and played Psylocke in X-Men: Apocalypse (2016). She also contributed her voice to The Lego Ninjago Movie (2017) and starred in The Predator (2018).
Outside of her acting career, Munn has engaged in activism. She has worked with PETA against animal cruelty, addressed anti-Asian sentiments, and shared her personal experiences with breast cancer in 2024 to raise awareness. She also holds a black belt in taekwondo.
