Biography: Rolf Harris is an Australian entertainer, formerly a beloved television personality whose image was dashed in 2014 when he was convicted of indecent assaulting a series of underage girls. He was stripped of his honors and publicly reviled, with there being a sense of betrayal in the distance between his earlier image and these actions.

Harris himself had come to recognition with his work in children's television, and he was lauded for his musical talents in this sphere. He hosted such shows as Rolf Harris's Cartoon Time (1979-1989) and Animal Hospital (1994-2004), as well as having a series of musical hits: "Tie Me Kangaroo Down, Sport" (1953), "Jake the Peg" (1965), and "Two Little Boys" (1969).

It was not until the scandal regarding Jimmy Savile's historic offending came to light that Harris was ultimately arrested as a part of Operation Yewtree, an investigation spurred by the Savile case that extended to other major names in media: among which were Gary Glitter, David Lee Travis, Max Clifford, and Harris himself.
