Biography: Rose McIver is a New Zealand actress known for her lead role in the television series iZombie (2015–2019) and for her portrayal of Amber Moore in the A Christmas Prince film series. She began her acting career as a child, appearing in notable projects like The Piano (1993) when she was only three years old.

After early commercial work and an appearance in The Piano, McIver secured roles in New Zealand television series and Disney Channel movies during her adolescence. Her part in Power Rangers RPM (2009) was a significant step. While maintaining her acting work, she attended the University of Auckland but left before completing her degree to focus on her acting career.

McIver's international recognition increased with her role in The Lovely Bones (2009). She went on to appear in successful television series including Masters of Sex (2013–14) and Once Upon a Time (2013–2017). Her prominence grew with her starring role as Olivia "Liv" Moore in iZombie, which aired for five seasons.

She became widely known from her role in Netflix's A Christmas Prince (2017) and its sequels, A Christmas Prince: The Royal Wedding (2018) and A Christmas Prince: The Royal Baby (2019).

Continuing her career in television, McIver stars in the CBS sitcom Ghosts (2021–present). In addition to television, she stays active in film, with a role in Daffodils (2019) among others. Outside of acting, McIver has been an ambassador for Emirates airlines and has shown an interest in writing.

In her personal life, McIver got married to Australian artist George Byrne in 2023. They announced in January 2024 that they are expecting their first child.
