Biography: Sandra Oh is a ground-breaking Asian-Canadian American actress. She is the first Asian woman to be nominated for an Emmy Award for Outstanding Lead Actress for her role in the TV drama "Killing Eve". She is also the first Asian woman to win two Golden Globe awards for Best Actress in a TV series, also for "Killing Eve".

Oh originally achieved fame in her native Canada for her role in the film "Double Happiness" (1994), which won her a Genie award. Oh's fame spread internationally with her role 2005-2014 in Shonda Rhimes' TV medical drama "Grey's Anatomy" as the best friend of Ellen Pompeo's Meredith Grey. The show earned her a number of awards including the 2005 Golden Globe for Best Supporting Actress.

From 2018 Oh starred in the BBC America series "Killing Eve" opposite Jodie Comer, with the first season written by British writer and actress Phoebe Waller-Bridge.
