Biography: Jeremy Renner is an American actor, best known for his role as Hawkeye in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. He had a successful and critically-acclaimed film career prior to this, including his early work in independent films such as Dahmer (2002) and his Academy Award nomination for Best Actor in The Hurt Locker (2008).
Since starring in Thor (2011), Renner has reprised his role as Hawkeye a number of times including in The Avengers (2012) and in the Disney+ miniseries Hawkeye (2021). He has also played a variety of similar roles, including in Mission: Impossible – Ghost Protocol (2011) and The Bourne Legacy (2012).
