Biography: Sheryl Sandberg has been the Chief Operating Officer of social network Facebook since 2008. Prior to this Sandberg worked for Google, becoming its Vice President of Online Sales developing AdSense and AdWords, greatly increasing profitability at the company.

At Facebook Sandberg was also able to develop a successful advertising strategy, while working closely with Facebook founder Mark Zuckerberg.

In 2013 Sandberg published the book " Lean In: Women, Work, and the Will to Lead" and founded Lean In, an organization that advocated for women in business.
