Biography: Stacy Lewis is an American professional golfer best known for her accomplishments on the LPGA Tour, including two major championships. Despite early challenges with scoliosis, Lewis's amateur career and transition into professional success established her as a top contender in women's golf.

Raised in Texas, Lewis was diagnosed with scoliosis at age 11 and underwent spinal fusion surgery in high school, which delayed her entry into competitive golf at the University of Arkansas. Despite this, she became a four-time All-American and won the NCAA Division I Championship in 2007. Her amateur career culminated in a historic 5–0 performance at the 2008 Curtis Cup.

Turning professional in 2008, Lewis made rapid strides by finishing tied for third in her U.S. Women's Open debut and secured her LPGA Tour card as the medalist at the qualifying tournament the same year. She won her first major, the Kraft Nabisco Championship, in 2011 and rose to the number one ranking in 2013 following her victory at the Women's British Open.

Off the course, Stacy Lewis is married to Gerrod Chadwell, with whom she has one child.
