Biography: Yani Tseng is a Taiwanese professional golfer who has been ranked as the number one female golfer in the world for 109 weeks. She has won five major championships and 15 LPGA Tour events.

Tseng began playing golf at the age of six and by the age of 10, she was a member of the Taiwanese national team. She won her first professional tournament in 2005, when she was just 18 years old.

In 2008, Tseng won her first major championship, the LPGA Championship, becoming the youngest player in history to win a major at the age of 21. She followed this up with victories at the Women's British Open and the Kraft Nabisco Championship in 2010.

Tseng's success on the golf course has made her one of the most popular athletes in Taiwan. She is regularly mobbed by fans and media wherever she goes and her face is plastered on billboards and advertisements across the country.

In 2012, Tseng announced that she was taking a break from golf to focus on her personal life. She has since returned to the sport.
