Biography: A significant figure in modern British culture, Fry began his career primarily as a comedian, noted for his collaboration with Hugh Laurie. This produced "A Bit of Fry & Laurie" and their adaptation of "Jeeves and Wooster". He then performed as an actor on productions such as "Blackadder", "Kingdom", "Bones" and "V for Vendetta".

His extensive filmography of documentaries touch on subjects ranging from his experiences with bipolar disorder to his travels in America. In addition to this he was a longtime host of the British quiz show "QI", from 2003 to 2016.

His voice work includes reading all seven of the Harry Potter novels for the UK audiobooks and narrating several video games and commercials on a number of subjects.

As a writer Fry has written several fiction novels and a well-received three volume autobiography.
