Biography: Suze Orman is a successful financial advisor whose unconventional approach is aimed at helping ordinary people through her finance company, books, TV appearances and podcasts.

Orman's interest in finance was originally triggered when she lost an investment intended to help her open an restaurant. She joined an office of Merril Lynch, the very same company who lost her money and ended up successfully suing the company while becoming a notable broker in her own right.

Orman published her first financial self-help book "You’ve Earned It, Don’t Lose It" in 1994. It sold out and many others have followed. Orman also began presenting workshops for public television including her popular "Financial Freedom" hour.

Further television appearances followed including regular appearances on Oprah Winfrey's show. Orman then landed her own show on CNBC "The Suze Orman Show" which rang from 2002 to 2015. In 2018 she started the podcast "Suze Orman’s Women & Money (and the Men Smart Enough to Listen)".
