Biography: Travis Barker is an American musician best known as the drummer of rock band Blink 182. He joined the band in 1998, a year before it achieved major mainstream success with Enema of the State (1999).
Since then Barker has remained a fixture with Blink 182, as well as working on collaborations with hip hop artists and being a member of several other bands. He is particularly known for his collaborations with the late DJ AM.
Barker and DJ AM were involved together in a 2008 plane crash, in which they were the only survivors. DJ AM subsequently died of a drug overdose after relapsing a year after the crash.
