Biography: Kevin Anderson is an American stage and film actor. He was a member of the renowned Steppenwolf Theatre Company, which has also featured notable actors like John Malkovich, Gary Sinise, and Laurie Metcalf.

In 1989, Anderson originated the dual roles of The Balladeer and Lee Harvey Oswald in the staged reading of Stephen Sondheim's musical "Assassins." He created the role of Joe Gillis in the original London production of Andrew Lloyd Webber's "Sunset Boulevard" (1993) opposite Patti LuPone, which led to a public feud between them.

Anderson won the 1999 Drama Desk Award for Outstanding Featured Actor in a Play and was nominated for a Tony Award for his role in the revival of "Death of a Salesman." He appeared on Broadway in "Come Back, Little Sheba" (2008) and starred as Andy Dufresne in the stage adaptation of "The Shawshank Redemption" (2009) in Dublin and London.

Anderson is perhaps most known for his role as a priest on the television series "Nothing Sacred" (1997), for which he was nominated for a Golden Globe. His film roles include "Miles from Home" (1988) with Richard Gere, "Sleeping with the Enemy" (1991) with Julia Roberts, and "Charlotte's Web" (2006) with Roberts providing the voice of Charlotte.

In 1994, Anderson was involved in a serious motorcycle accident that left him with broken bones and health complications. While he spent several years recovering from this incident, he has since labeled this a positive experience to its causing him to evaluate and reorient his life.
