Biography: Maria Menounos is a Greek-American television host and actress, best known for hosting entertainment news shows like Extra and E! News. She is also the CEO of the online podcast network AfterBuzz TV, which she co-created, and has been involved with WWE as an ambassador and occasional in-ring performer since 2009.

Menounos started out competing in beauty pageants, winning the title of Miss Massachusetts Teen USA in 1996. She graduated from Emerson College in 2000, where she studied video production and reported for Channel One News, covering major events and interviewing President George W. Bush.

Subsequently Menounos became a correspondent for Entertainment Tonight in 2002 and later joined Access Hollywood in 2005. She has appeared in films such as "Fantastic Four" (2005) and "Kickin' It Old Skool" (2007), and TV shows like "One Tree Hill" (2004-2005). In 2006, she co-hosted the Eurovision Song Contest in Athens, Greece.

Menounos co-created and is the CEO of AfterBuzz TV, an online podcast network. She has been involved with WWE since 2009, serving as an ambassador and occasionally competing in tag team matches, including at WrestleMania XXVIII in 2012. Menounos hosted the reality show "Chasing Maria Menounos" (2014) and co-hosted "E! News" from 2015 to 2017.

In 2017, Menounos underwent surgery to remove a benign brain tumor. She has authored several books, including "The Everygirl's Guide to Life" (2001) and "Better Together" (2021). Menounos married Keven Undergaro in two separate ceremonies in 2017 and 2018.

In 2023, Menounos was diagnosed with stage II pancreatic cancer and underwent surgery. She and her husband are also expecting a baby via surrogate.
