Biography: Paul Simon is an American musician, best known for his partnership with Art Garfunkel under the name of Simon & Garfunkel. The pair released several hit album, with a number of massive singles including "The Sound of Silence" (1964) and "Mrs. Robinson" (1968).

Simon and Garfunkel went their separate ways in 1970, with Simon then launching into a highly successful solo career. He released three critically acclaimed albums in the next five years, including Paul Simon (1972) and Still Crazy After All These Years (1975).
