Biography: Amy Fisher was just 16 years old when she shot Mary Jo Buttafuoco, the wife of Joey Buttafuoco (35), with whom she was having an affair. Mary Jo survived and Fischer pleaded guilty to first-degree aggravated assault and served seven years in jail.
The case received huge publicity and Fisher was christened the "Long Island Lolita' by the press. Two TV movies were made by American networks "The Amy Fisher Story" starred Drew Barrymore and "Casualties of Love: The "Long Island Lolita" Story" starred Alyssa Milano.
