Biography: Kelly Macdonald is a Scottish actress, best known as the voice of Princess Merida in Brave (2012). She made her film debut with Trainspotting (1996) and went on to star in a number of major films such as No Country for Old Men (2007) and Anna Karenina (2012).

Macdonald has also starred in television series, for instance in the Black Mirror episode "Hated in the Nation" as well as her role as Margaret Thompson in Boardwalk Empire (2010-2014).
